Notice on the Public Open Day of the National Key Laboratory of High-Performance Tools in 2025

In accordance with relevant State Council regulations, and in active response to the spirit of the document "Notice on Holding the 2025 National Science and Technology Activity Week and National Science and Technology Workers' Day Activities" issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Central Propaganda Department, and the China Association for Science and Technology, the State Key Laboratory of High-Performance Tools has decided to hold a public open day event (hereinafter referred to as the "Public Open Day") on May 24, 2025, themed "Commitment to Innovation and Development, Building a Strong Nation of Science and Technology". This Public Open Day aims to study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on scientific and technological innovation, widely publicize General Secretary Xi Jinping's care and concern for scientific and technological workers, promote the implementation of major decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee on scientific and technological innovation, strengthen the confidence of a large number of scientific and technological workers in giving full play to the advantages of the new national system, accelerate the realization of high-level self-reliance and self-improvement in science and technology, and strive to achieve the goal of building a strong nation of science and technology. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows.

II. Event Content
Under the theme of "Commitment to Innovation and Development, Building a Strong Nation of Science and Technology", the event will showcase innovative achievements, disseminate scientific knowledge, and widely publicize the scientific and technological innovation achievements of high-performance tools, inspiring the public, especially young people, to love and be interested in science. The specific activities are as follows:

(II) Laboratory Visit
Mainly through guided tours, the event will conduct public science popularization on major scientific and technological innovation achievements of the laboratory in recent years. Visitors should follow the arrangements of the staff and visit along the designated route.
