On May 30, He Bo, member of the Party Committee and vice general manager of China Heavy Machinery Research Institute Co., Ltd., and his delegation of four visited the laboratory for technical exchange. Sun Guan Nan, assistant general manager and director of the Technology Development Department of National Machine Tool Diamond, and Zhao Jiong, executive deputy director of the National Key Laboratory, warmly received them. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including the scientific research management system of reorganized scientific research institutes, scientific research project application, the refinement of scientific and technological achievements, and the cultivation of emerging strategic industries.
At the meeting, Zhao Jiong shared the construction and operation model of the national key laboratory and the experience in organizing academic conferences. In-depth discussions were held on laboratory operation and management, collaborative technology development, open fund project management, and the introduction of high-level talents.
He Bo introduced the basic situation of China Heavy Machinery Research Institute, its scientific research management model, experience and achievements in scientific and technological results transformation and incentive mechanisms. He hoped to use this exchange as an opportunity to establish a normalized exchange mechanism and strengthen exchanges in areas such as laboratory resource sharing and the improvement of innovation mechanisms.
Finally, both sides reached a high degree of consensus. As national key laboratories established under the leadership of the China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH), both sides will continue to adhere to their strategic mission, focus on major cutting-edge breakthroughs, gather resources from all parties to strengthen cooperation, strive for new progress in laboratory construction and operation, and contribute to the construction of national key laboratories under SINOMACH.
